Liza Gill, MD

Dr. Liza Gill is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in treating a wide variety of medical and surgical skin conditions as well as cosmetic skin concerns.

She was raised in Michigan and graduated high school as a salutatorian, National Merit Finalist and National AP scholar. At age 18, she was accepted into the highly coveted combined BS/MD Medical Scholars Program at Michigan State University, where she completed her Bachelor in Physiology and her MD degree. During medical school, she was selected into the AOA honor society, a distinction given only to those at the top of the class. Following medical school, she completed a transitional year internship at Harbor- UCLA in Torrance, CA. Dr. Gill completed her dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In residency, she received extensive training from world-renown physicians in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. After residency, she worked as a clinical instructor of dermatology at UCLA and also worked alongside the famous “Dr. Pimplepopper”, Dr. Sandra Lee.

Dr. Gill’s practice emphasizes shared decision making with her patients and providing high-quality, evidence-based care. She has compassion for her patients and treats each patient as if they were family. She is also dedicated to the advancement of her field. She has presented her dermatology research at national meetings and has published numerous journal articles in addition to a book chapter.

Dr. Gill fell in love during her intern year in Los Angeles, where her husband was born and raised. They have two children, a boy and a girl. She enjoys dancing, indoor cycling and spending time with family.
